Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

This cocktail was served as the "Sliving Cosmo" at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California in April 2024, but amongst the cognoscenti, it is known as the Cosmicus.

I would up the amount of Italicus to 30 ml next time aiming for more pronounced taste and a bit more sweet. Then likely nearly as good as a Cosmopolitan
