It's great but I prefer Division Bell

The first cocktail I've made with mezcal, and what a great choice - smoky and savory agave complimented by herbs and citrus. If you're short on Chartreuse ( as most of us, unfortunately) - try to sub it with Liquore Strega, worked great for me. Strega's more robust spiciness works great with mezcal IMO.

Wow, this was delicious. I mixed it up the first night I could get my hands on some yellow Chartreuse, and so should you.

Made with Montelobos mezcal. Possibly my favorite Last Word/Paper Plane variation. Smoky, herbal, sour. Fantastic.

Having tried this with Resposado in place of Mezcal and not been blown away I've now bought a bottle of Mezcal and it's a whole other beast. Great cocktail. I've never tried Mezcal before and am now looking forward to seeing what else I can make with it.

Thanks for the recommendation Paloma. Tried a Closing Argument and loved it. Perhaps even more so than Last Word which is saying a lot!

Hi James, great to hear you've discovered the delights of mezcal with this cocktail. For your next, perhaps a Closing Argument? Delicious!

This is fabulous, I was expecting to tweak it one way or another but loved it just as it is; this is definitely in my top 10!
