Used 15ml of maple syrup and no simple syrup- still very sweet- will knock down to 10ml next time to balance out.

I got distracted while making this and doubled the maple syrup by accident. I cut the simple to compensate; it was still VERY sweet, but drinkable and pleasant.

Delicious - when I subbed the sugar syrup for 5ml more of the maple syrup.

The mistake here is the Ango. I'm not a fan of Fee Bros bitters, but they're serviceable when necessary. Their Black Walnut bitters was a clearly needed sub for the Ango.

I found this too sweet for my taste.
Using 10 ml of maple syrup and 20 ml lemon juice makes a more enjoyable, balanced drink in my opinion.

Perfect start of the fall cocktails! I also left out the rich sugar syrup - the maple syrup is enough for me.

I replaced the 2:1 rich syrup with 1:1 vanilla syrup and it is quite tasty

Great cocktail. We used an amber maple syrup from Canada. Left out the sugar syrup. Well balanced. Light smoky flavour and nice sweetness,

This is a nice one... almost ended up with an apple cidery sort of flavour, despite no apple being in the drink. Neat flavour evolution

Absolutely delicious, a bit sweet - err on the side of the lemon juice, light on the syrup esp. rich syrup.

kind of sweet. but better than the maple leaf. removing the sugar syrup was better for my taste.
