The Botanist, Carpano Dry, La Clandestine absinthe, Cointreau. Delicious! A nice break from the usual Martini.

Selected by Dave for Championship Manager episode of Cocktail Mode (Retro Games/Cocktails/Banter) - This is a fantastic find. It feels related to the Corpse Reviver No2 which, as the greatest cocktail ever invented, is no bad thing!

On a whim swapped the triple sec for italicus at double quantity, one dash orange bitters and lemon twist. Not bad.

And then mad properly to spec. Wonderfully subtle herbal and citrus flavours. A new favourite I suspect! Needs a light touch with absinthe.

I made it with Uncle Val's Botanical, Dolin, Cointreau, Grande Absente. Quite interesting and very good, though next time I will use a different gin--Val's tends to overpower.

Might dial the Cointreau back, also.

This is such a great drink. I use Plymouth and Noilly Prat extra dry.

Too strong for my friend (he may work on a building site but he's a martini wuss) so I added two dashes of orange bitters and miraculously made it palatable for him. And I must admit, it added a delicious dimension to this fav of mine.

What a great cocktail! Really enjoyed this one. Made it a second time w/ Dolin (dry) vermouth and enjoyed it even more. 4:2:1 ratio perfect and the absinthe does not overpower.

Perfect aperitif. Light hint of orange and the wonderful flavour of absinthe. Gin and vermouth helps make this nicely dry. Great variation of a martini. On my favourites.
