Love a classic Americano but tonight I created a Blood Orange version. Proportions same as above but using Campari, Antica Formula vermouth and Fever Tree Blood Orange Soda. Garnished with two slices of blood orange, one in the base of glass and one on top. Tastes like summer (even in March).
First tried an americano about 40 years ago after reading casino royale and was lucky enough to be shown how it should be made in camparino last year, fabulous drink
