History:

A riff on a classic Brooklyn cocktail created by Alex White and shared (in January 2021) via a comment on our Perfect Brooklyn page. Alex's original, very delicious, recipe calls for 7.5ml Luxardo Perla Dry in place of the easier to obtain maraschino liqueur I've used.

Nutrition:

One serving of Obligatory Brooklyn contains 202 calories

Alcohol content:

  • 1.7 standard drinks
  • 23.61% alc./vol. (23.61° proof)

I also had to buy a bottle to make this. I'd hoped to be able to sub for something else in the recipe but the Elixir has a distinctive flavour and I wanted to stay true to Alex's creation. That said, if you have a China China I'd give it a try.
