The cocktail for the Chartreuse lovers, I am one. I agree that it’s too much sugar and even could imagine to increase the lime.

Made a variant. Less lime and no sugar. It really brings out the Chartreuse split with a very nice finish.

1 fl oz Gin (Procera Blue Spot)

1⁄2 fl oz Green Chartreuse

1⁄2 fl oz Yellow Chartreuse

1/3 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)

Very good cocktail. We used less sugar syrup than in the recipe, but would leave out next time. That will let the flavours of the gin, and chartreuse shine. Great as an aperitif.

Loved it BUT ditch the simple syrup. It’s on the cloying side of sweet otherwise.
