Ingredients:
1 13 oz Patrón Añejo tequila
56 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
56 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with skewered cherry.

Review:

A tequila and brandy-based Manhattan. When I first made this cocktail, I concluded that it needed bitters. It doesn't, but if you do add bitters then vanilla, Boker's, or Abbott's all work better than Angostura or similar aromatic bitters.

Interesting variation of a Manhattan. The Cognac and tequila work perfectly together. A great before dinner cocktail.
