Sipping this right now. My cranberry juice is unsweetened but added only a dash of the syrup based on other comments and it was just right. This is a most delicious Margarita variant and giving it a 5.

I like this without the syrup and with a little more cordial. Tart with a hint sweetness.

Great Margarita and wonderful colour. Did find it a tad sweet, so I would probably eliminate the sugar syrup next time. Wonderful blend of flavours.

P.S.: I also used a dash of saline solution and drinking at the salt rim was very tasty.

I reduced the sugar syrup to half of a barspoon, that worked perfect for me. As the Grand Marnier is not very prominent, maybe a bit more of it could replace the sugar syrup.

I made it with unsweetened 100% cranberry juice. It was just the right level of sweetness and a vibrant red (rather than peach coloured).

one of my favourites. i prefer it with a touch less sweet though, so, 1/4 instead of 1/3.
