Ingredients:
1 oz Torabhaig Peated Single Malt Whisky
1 oz Fernet Branca liqueur
1 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
12 oz Amaro Montenegro
3 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with skewered cherry.

The compatibility of the whisky and vermouth probably makes or breaks this cocktail.
I used Islay Mist with Martini Rosso and actually really liked it..

I like Laphroaig, I like Fernet Branca, but sadly this cocktail is just hideous.
