Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 23 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
12 oz Giffard Parfait Amour liqueur
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
3 drop Difford's Margarita Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist (and optionally edible viola flower).
  3. BLEND all ingredients with 7oz scoop of crushed ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish, or discard and adorn with viola flower.

The flavour is really delicate, as always with Parfait Amour. I was hoping for a slightly more purple hue but it turned out a bit grey. Nevermind the colour, I'd do it again.

Great cocktail by Don the Beachcomber. With all the ingredients it is on the sweeter side, but has a wonderful flavour of rum, orange, and (oddly) coconuts. Loved it. Went perfectly with our Mexican dinner.
