Ingredients:
12 fresh Mint leaves
34 oz Straight rye whiskey (100 proof /50% alc./vol.)
34 oz Bourbon whiskey
34 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
6 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint sprigs.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

That's actually not bad. Not too sweet either. I would agree with Andre, well balanced. And Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon and Rye make a great combo.

Lovely and well balanced. I prefer peychauds with whiskey so I went Hal peychauds and half aromatic bitters.
