This is excellent. Made it with Wild Turkey 101 Rye, Carpano Antica, Ramazzotti, Laphroaig 10, & Ango Orange Bitters. Seems like a good one to experiment with different ryes and/or peated single malts. A tad sweet, but well-balanced by bitter, spice, & complexity.

I spiced it up a bit with Dad's Hat Port Cask Finish Rye. Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 for the peat. Very balanced cocktail.

Made per spec with Hochstadter's rye, Carpano Antica, Ramazzotti, Caol Ila 12 year, Ango orange. Deliciously orangey and complex The scotch adds just the right level of peat to the mix. Highly recommended.

Excellent aperitivo. There is a burst of flavours on your first drink. The spicy pepper of the rye, the herbals from the vermouth and amaro, and the peaty malty tastes from the Whisky. Bitters add a hint of orange. Level of sweetness is perfect.
