Serve in a Sling glass

Ingredients:
1 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
12 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
1 oz Pineapple juice
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Pineapple cubes, Luxardo Maraschino Cherry & mint sprig

How to make:

BLEND all ingredients with 6oz scoop crushed ice and strain into glass half-filled with crushed ice. Serve with straws.

Adapted from a recipe in Victor Bergeron's 1972 Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide (Revised Edition).

I created this drink a thousand years ago. It's easy and good.
MAHUKONA
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash rock candy syrup
½ ounce lemon juice
½ slice pineapple
½ ounce triple sec
1 ounce light Puerto Rican rum
Blend in with ½ scoop shaved ice in an electric drink mixer. Pour into a 10-ounce pilsener glass half filled with shaved ice. Decorate with fresh mint and fruit stick
