The black salt definitely gives the drink a sharp start! Great for parties for a dramatic look; add an orange slice

I used Tanquerey gin 46% , followed the recipe as best as I could.
Sorry to say i had runned out of Icelandic black salt,so my Nick&Nora glasses had sugar rims.
Must say this cocktail deserves 4 stars

I made this cocktail exactly as the recipe states and then afterwards followed up by making the same cocktail again, but with 15ml of blue curacao instead of 22.5ml and found it to be less sweet but for the better personally, which also for garnish I think it’s just meant to say a black salt rim and not orange juice and black salt rim

I used an orange to moisten the rim so the black salt stuck to the sticky juice. Hence, orange juice and black salt rim.
