1⁄3 oz | Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup) |
3 drop | Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) |
3⁄4 oz | Egg white (pasteurised) or 3 dashes Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer or Aquafaba or Vegan egg white alternative |

Named after the 1941 musical comedy film of the same name, starring Mary Martin, Don Ameche and Oscar Levant, released in August 1941. This cocktail was probably created soon after the film's release and features in the 1949 book Esquire's Handbook for Hosts.
