Review:

Relatively low in alcohol and delicately bittersweet, this cocktail is suited to repeat orders during an extended aperitivo hour. Gin adds additional botanical fortification to chinato and vermouth.

That's a lot of bianco vermouth for one drink. I thought it would be on the vermouth-heavy side so I used a London dry gin and cut the Angostura back to 2 dashes. Still wasn't happy with the initial mix; increasing the gin to a full ounce helped, more than I expected, and it doesn't preclude repeat orders.

I really like this! So few ingredients and yet such a complex flavour (I did use London dry gin rather than Old Tom because I was too lazy to dig that bottle out). It's refreshing but has a hint of richness and the colour is stunning. This is going into my lower ABV aperitivo standard repertoire and I can't wait to make it for friends.
