History:

Adapted from a cocktail created in 2014 at and offered on the menu of The American Bar at The Savoy Hotel in London for £17.

Wingspan Cocktail 17.00
On 3rd March 1919, William Boeing and Eddie Hubbard delivered the first shipment of international airmail, marking a giant step for communication. The wonderfully named Wingspan Cocktail combines elements of two major cocktails that are affiliated with The Savoy: the classic Aviation cocktail and the lesser-known 'Wings' cocktail, created as a tribute to the RAF during World War II by the then head bartender Eddie Clarke.
Bombay Sapphire gin, Swedish Punch, Cocchi Americano, Crème de Violet, Orange bitters.
