It's intriguing that different reviews find different flavours to the fore. I agree with John Hinojos that the sherry & vermouth are more pronounced (used Martini Extra Dry). I added an extra 5ml elderflower for sweetness and to accentuate that flavour aspect. A great aperitif for those who can't decide between a plain sherry or dry vermouth and desire the best of both worlds plus elderflower & subtle lavender.

It’s okay but I would drop the Elderflower down a tad, also the Bitters by a couple of drops πŸ˜‚

Wonderful herbal and floral flavours. The sherry, vermouth, and bitters are forward here. Very pleasant cocktail and perfect for an aperitif.

Not a fan of tasteless vodka but made it according to recipe. Thought the sherry overpowered. Thought I'd try replacing the vodka with gin and had some Victoria Lane pink gin on hand which I thought would be springlike in color at least. A cocktail more balanced imo- sherry is put back in its place by the gin- and has a delicate pink blush from the gin.
