History

Created in 2018 for Bacardi Legacy by Ali Yusifov at VinoVin, Sochi, Russia.

Review

Ali’s inspiration: “I present to you the first part of a cocktail trilogy; each ingredient symbolizes a person or place that has played an important part in the formation of the Bacardí company:

The roots of Don Facundo are in the wine from Catalonia where he originates.

St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur plays the part of the French confectioner José León Boutellier, who worked with Don Facundo to develop the distillation cube for obtaining aromatic oils – represented in my cocktail by absinthe.

Finally, of course, the protagonist in our story: BACARDÍ Carta Blanca rum, which left its mark in history and will continue to do so…..”
