Glass:

Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 13 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
12 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
23 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
4 fresh Strawberries (hulled, small & ripe)
12 barspoon Xanthan gum (E415) optional
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of half strawberry.

How to make:

  1. DRY BLEND (without ice) first 5 ingredients (all but Xanthan gum) on a slow setting and then gradually add Xanthan while continuing to blend.
  2. Add two-thirds full 7oz scoop of crushed ice and BLEND some more.
  3. POUR into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with strawberry on rim.

Slightly sweet but yummy with an interplay between tequila, rich strawberry and tart fresh lime.

Seasonal variation: Substitute 30ml of strawberry puree for fresh strawberries.

Wow, pretty delicious in this version. Used fresh strawberries. It is admittedly, on the easy side, but it's perfect for my palate.

I prefer no frozen version. It’s more in Margarita style.
