Ingredients:
1 13 oz Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal
12 oz Cynar or other carciofo amaro
12 oz Lustau Amontillado Los Arcos Sherry
16 oz Rothman & Winter Crème de Violette Liqueur

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Mezcal with an amaro is an interesting and unexpected twist. Very tasty, would totally make again.

Be sure to try an "M & M", equal parts Montenegro and mezcal on-the-rocks. Delicious!
