Tastes rather like a bon bon (a round, sugar coated, lemon flavoured sweet).

Excellent cocktail !
Une gorgée et j’avais de nouveau huit ans, en culotte courte, courant au petit magasin du coin avec quelques pièces en poche, prêt à tout claquer en bonbons ! 😂

I appreciate it's down to subjective taste, but I found the Frangelico (nut) component a little overwhelming. As such I added three dashes of Rhubarb Bitters, then a little extra Limoncello, say, 7.5 ml. This helped integrate the nut impact whilst adding a second fruit flavour, which seemed to work satisfactorily with the hazelnut while adding variety to the fruit tones. But then, it's almost becoming another cocktail.... I will certainly make it again....

This is almost a dessert digestif. I do like it very much, but it also tastes like one of those "girl drinks" from the Kids in the Hall sketch (check it out on youtube if you're unfamiliar).

Should you be wanting to support your local Italian restaurant during lockdown (Terra Mia, Kingston, tell Lino I sent you) then this is a nice way of spending your time whilst you wait for your Deliveroo.

This was a great after dinner drink. It was not as sweet as I was expecting. Used a New Zealand Savion Blanc. Great digestive.

I like both Limoncello and Frangelico a lot. So it was not a surprise that i like the combination of both with White Wine. I can't wait to serve it as Aperitif to an Italian evening before digging in on Carpaccio and Bolognese.
