Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
3 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
3 oz Thomas Henry Ginger Beer
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime slice wheel.
  3. SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass whilst also pouring ginger beer.
  5. Garnish with lime wheel.

I made this in the tradition copper mug using Fever Tree ginger beer and no extra sugar syrup. It was sweet enough but needed something extra and a splash of Cointreau did the trick for me! Very nice.

I really like this one. Everything goes so well together. Smooth and refreshing.

This drink is surprisingly smooth. The tequila and ginger beer round out and bring out the flavours in one another.
