Review:

A Gin Sour sweetened with orange liqueur. Harry Craddock's original 1930 recipe calls for 1 part lemon, 1 part triple sec, and 2 parts gin. Depending on your lemons, this tends to produce an overly sour cocktail, hence I've reduced the citrus and added a touch of sugar.

She's a boozy one! It's good as written but not mind-blowing. What I really like about it is it's very gin-forward, so the gin you choose will very much affect the character of it. The overall balance of sweet, aromatic, and sour is good. It supports the gin's character.

Wonderful cocktail. Great for gin lovers and novices. Not overly sweet and the orange and lemon with the herbal. Delightful.

Very accessible . A perfect balance of sweet orange, bitter lemon which together with the colour of the end result makes for a very pleasant pre dinner cocktail for gin drinkers.
