12 fresh | Green grapes (seedless) |
2 fl oz | BarSol Mosto Verde Italia Pisco |
1 fl oz | Pineapple juice |
1/12 fl oz | La Fée Parisienne absinthe |
How to make:
- Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
- Prepare white/green grapes for garnish.
- MUDDLE grapes in base of shaker.
- Add other ingredients.
- SHAKE with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
- Garnish with grapes.

History:
Jack Koeppler, the bartender at the Buena Vista Café in San Francisco who's also famous for being the first bartender in America to serve Irish Coffee, was given this recipe by the son of its creator, a fellow San Franciscan by the name of Mr Prosser.
Adapted from Mr Prosser's original recipe which is said to have comprised: 2oz white grape juice, 2 oz pisco, 1 spoon pineapple juice and 1 spoon absinthe.
