This comes out pretty well as a cocktail too, especially with a few dashes of cocoa or xocolatl bitters.

Had this unchilled and the Cognac gets lost. Maybe it would pop out more when chilled and sitting on top. If not, would a cheap brandy suffice? Overall, not bad.
