How to make:
STIR honey with Scotch in base of shaker until honey dissolves. ADD other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
2 fl oz | Blended Scotch whisky |
1/4 fl oz | Caisteal Chamuis peated scotch whisky |
2 barspoon | Honey |
1 fl oz | Strucchi Dry Vermouth |

Honey lifts and enhances this blend of Scotch whisky, single Islay malt and dry vermouth.
History:
Adapted by yours truly from a cocktail promoted in 2013 by Bols, the Dutch liqueur producer. Originally based on vodka with Bols honey liqueur, the honey cried out for blended Scotch whisky and then some Islay single malt. It's called the Amber Nectar after all.

- 1.9 standard drinks
- 27.17% alc./vol. (54.34° proof)
- 26.5 grams of pure alcohol
