How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass.

1 1/3 fl oz Cognac VSOP
1/3 fl oz Green Chartreuse liqueur
2/3 fl oz Chardonnay (Chablis) white wine
2/3 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2/3 fl oz Giffard Sugar Cane Syrup
4 dash La Fee Parisienne absinthe

A sour-style drink served straight-up combining cognac, Green Chartreuse, white wine and lemon.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2015 by Fabiano Latham when he was at The Natural Philosopher, London, England. Parmenides was a 6th century BC Greek philosopher, appropriate considering the name of Alban’s bar.
