Very pleasant and fruity. Probably on the sweet side for me (no slider gizmo on this recipe page?). Also went with Florian’s suggestion of raspberry syrup, plus a dash of a Finnish blueberry/raspberry liqueur that was lurking in the cupboard.
Might try Sean’s bloody Shiraz version next time!
I love it - the WEEBLES commercial!!! In the US most people have no clue about Weebles, only those of us of a certain (ahem…) age. Thank you for this! On to the drink, first time I’ve had sloe gin (Hayman’s), I like it!. I used raspberry syrup as suggested. I’ll certainly make it again.
Immediately, not my ideal brands of choice (used what was on hand), but the result was quite tasty enough to warrant revisiting... Gordon's, Hofland Sloe Gin, and Mathilde Cassis were the subs... I continue to be impressed by Dick's cocktails.
