We both really like this drink. I mixed it just as this recipe suggested, thought it might be to sweet but it was just right. The Campari keeps this from just being a Tiki drink and back to a true Cocktail. (Spiced Rum is good as well) (6 of 8 of “Her Maj’s” Difford cocktails for the Jubilee)

Literally BitterSweet! May try it with Aperol just to see the difference...

Very nice. I used equal parts of Goslings and Myers which gave a nice rummy backbone. So easy to drink.

Don't know why I waited so long to try this. The Campari, pineapple, and citrus come together to enhance the rum. Lovely, balanced, not too sweet.

Wow, an unexpectedly great combination. Right to my favorite list. I made my own pineapple juice and froze it in 1 1/2 oz portions for future use.

I was given a milk punch version of this cocktail and it was fabulous!

I am not a huge fan of rhum drinks, or sweeter drinks in general. This, however, is fantastic. The interplay of the Campari with the sweet and sour elements makes this very drinkable - great on a hot, humid day.

I tried the Smuggler's Cove version but have found it too pineappley. Will try this one again (last made last year now, in the midst of pandemic see what I like mode). Now I have better and refined palate, I believe I will enjoy the Difford version more
