This has been my favorite cocktail since seeing it here a few years ago. When you are in a Manhattan mood but want something a bit more interesting or complex (which is always).
Hugo Spritz link is bad, fyi.
I found this to be overly sweet and syrupy, even with meletti amaro, which I don't find very sweet. Didn't really come together, though I'm enjoying trying out grappa based cocktails.
The is a very big difference between the Domain de Canton and the suggested Barrows intense ginger. I gave away my Canton after I tried the Barrows as it was much too sweet for me.
