Very smooth and well balanced. The apple and lemon blend well. A great use for our spare egg whites.

More complex than its bourbon namesake and without the tartness of the lemon/alcohol combo thanks to the apple that would make this cocktail seem soft. Very treacherous and very good!

I dialed back the sugar and should have followed Simon. Great cocktail and the egg white really smooths out the lemon bite. Having the apple flavor in a sour is perfect for fall cocktail.

Terrific! Using Daron calvados and Demerara syrup, the apple flavor was deliciously present. So interesting that apple and lemon would work so well together. Prefer it to a whiskey sour!

Delicious. The citrus and apple flavours work together wonderfully. Would be perfect before or after dinner.

This is a very good sour- the apple and lemon are well matched. I made mine with Lairds applejack; will try again with calvados next time.....
