I tried something similar to this, but more simplified: 1,5 oz of 100% Agave Mezcal, 1 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice and 0,5 oz of Cointreau. A light salt rim on the glass and finished with a slice of lime for garnish. It was a very refreshing drink that opened with the sweet but sour flavour of lime, gave way to the smokey Mezcal, but ended back on a pleasant limey note. I didn't really taste the orange flavour of the cointreau, but I suspect it tied it all together. Will do this again.

Wow! What a drink, made this at home. It instantly transported me back to Brazil. Smell's like Brazil and tastes like Brazil!
Que beleza!

I substituted the agave syrup with oak honey, didn't use bitters and no salt added into the drink (only rimmed).
