Really delightful. On a second pass, we added just 5ml triple sec, thinking that this might round out the balance. We were a bit worried that this might detract from the lavender 'idea' of the drink but we don't think that it was too intrusive.

Ah ah, tequila reposado and lavender again! I wasn't sure how Difford's margarita bitters lifted up cocktails of this kind, so I sampled it and found out it has quite a pronounced lavender taste. Clever!

Astonishing and delicious result, not overly sweet or flowery, just balanced.

Living in Southern California I have had many margaritas. I love the uniqueness of this one. The hint of lavender adds a nice touch to the margarita. Perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Thanks Simon for another hit. In my favourites.
