Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Blended Scotch whisky
1 oz Dubonnet/French rouge aromatised wine
1 oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Careful with the Whisky you use is my takeaway. I used a lowland whisky that was at hand. It got a bit lost in the mix and needed an extra 15ml to sort things out.

Very good cocktail. Was questioning the blend of the three ingredients, but they work excellently together. The slight smoky flavours from the Whisky is ideal to offset the sweetness.
