I looked at these specs and thought "NO!". Immediately decided on a 4:3:2:1 version, but it turned out too sweet. A 2:1:1:1 take followed, which was much more to my liking. Reduced the amaro by 1/4, and that was it for me... The final recipe (and I always make short versions of drinks): 20 ml Drumshanbo gin, 10 ml Cocchi di Torino, 10 ml (yuck) navel orange juice, 7.5 ml Meletti. Note that I employed a shake-n-dump execution. I hope you enjoy.

Wow. I was not expecting to dislike this as much as I did. The base concept (Negroni but sub amaro for the Campari) is solid, but the addition of OJ really brings the drink down for me. It veers into Satan's Whiskers territory, and like there the gin and orange combo is rather dubious. Sweet piney gin/vermouth up front is followed by a mellow bitterness from the amaro, but that is undercut by the disrupting OJ. Not my thing, so much that I didn't finish and made myself a cleansing Dark n Stormy.
