Serve in a Coupe glass
1 oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
2 barspoon | Powdered sugar (white sugar ground in mortar and pestle) |
4 fresh | Mint leaves |
2 oz | Rhum Clément Blanc |
1⁄4 oz | Giffard Menthe Pastille white crème de menthe |
Garnish: Mint sprigs bouquet pegged to rim
STIR ingredients in base of shaker until sugar is dissolved. Then SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
Rhum agricole wit with lime and a subtle hint of mint. Patiently stir your sugar so it fully dissolves, strike the right balance, and this is a brilliant cocktail.
Adapted from a recipe created in 2021 by Jason E. Clapham of St. Edward's MCR at Oxford, England (originally using Tempus Fugit Crème de Menthe.)
