Ingredients:
23 oz Liquore Strega
23 oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
2 23 oz Chinotto
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange slice wheel.

How to make:

  1. POUR ingredients into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
  2. Briefly STIR.

  1. Garnish with orange slice wheel.

The version in the 18th edition of your guide says 80ml Strega to 20ml red bitter liqueur. That seems like too large a difference to be classed as a variation, but perhaps you can clarify either way? Thanks

Indeed. Not sure how the 80ml found its way into the book as this is wrong! Should be as above. Many thanks for bringing to my attention.

A really nice and refreshing drink, lower abv and a unique flavor profile. Strega leads the flavor, with some bitterness from the Campari and chinotto in the background. The chinotto soda dilutes and extends the drink - a very nice drink.
