Playing around with this, I found this recipe most suitable to my taste: 50 ml bottled-in-bond bourbon, 20 ml pink grapefruit juice, 15 ml maple syrup, 10 ml lemon juice. I was hoping the bourbon would stand out more, so maybe 60 ml standard strength bourbon would be preferable.

Nice bourbon flavour, but did find it a bit sweet for my particular tastes. Would lose less maple syrup in the future. It does drink very easily.

For bourbon lovers, sweet, aromatic and far too easy to drink. Beware, it's boozier than tastes.
