Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
2 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Lustau Jarana Fino Sherry
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Made this with Xoriguer gin and Tio Pepe and it's a very good cocktail; it stands up to snacks very well. I suspect it would even cope with bhajis etc. Definitely needs a tasty gin.

Excellent cocktail. The sherry is a bit stronger than the vermouth. Did find if you add a few drops of Orange Bitters the flavour pops.
Feel you could also garnish with green olives as the sherry flavour would stand up to the briny.

Made mine with Manzanilla Sherry and loved it.

NA version of Gordon's does not work in this (bland). Would probably try this again with Tanqueray, or something similar or more distinctive.
