Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 23 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
16 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Cherry blossom/sakura syrup
14 oz Chilled water
2 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherry with cherry blossom when in season.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Not as finished as the Cherry Blossom No. 2; but a nice twist on a straight Daiquiri. The pink colour may make it more appealing for those who may otherwise avoid the clean (strong) lines of a straight Daiquiri.

I used Monin’s proprietary cherry blossom syrup.

A lot of improvising with this one. 50 ml trois rivieres cuvee de l'ocean (So no saline solution needed), infused with sencha tea with sakura (infusion within infusion, lol), 15 ml kwai feh lychee, 5 ml stock maraschino, 15 ml lime Juice, 2,5 ml agave syrup.
