This was very much a Tiki drink. The funk came through without being overpowering. I also replaced some of the rum with Clairin which gave some fantastic industrial and savoury notes. The Amaretto, Coconut rum and Galliano I presume replaced Angostura bitters because they contributed similar flavours (although it was a bit heavy on the almond).

Overall it was a very nice cocktail. I kind of think you could get a similar result using an existing Tiki drink and replacing the rum with overproof unaged rum because the overall flavour was pretty "Tiki generic" if I'm being honest. It was great though, definitely recommend you try it out.

N'ayant pas de liqueur Galliano, je l'ai remplacée par une liqueur de banane jaune et le jus de citron par du jus de lime et ma foi le résultat était vraiment très bien... Un cocktail tropical et fruité à refaire cet été !

Being a rum and Tiki lover, this was great. Served it in one of our vintage Tiki Glasses. We did substitute 1/2 oz of 151 rum for part of the overproof white. Did find the Galliano was a bit lost. Thinking you could also use Pimento Dram. Great drink. Did remind me of a Hurricane, but not as sweet.
