Ingredients:
2 fl oz Bittersweet orange-red aperitivo
34 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
12 fl oz Adriatico Bianco Amaretto Liqueur
16 fl oz Sambuca
6 dash Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker.
  2. DRY SHAKE (without ice) to emulsify.
  3. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Relatively low in alcohol, this bittersweet aperitivo has attractive almond notes. The sambuca adds well-integrated depth of flavour, rather than being a standout ingredient.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in Spring 2026 by Damiano Coren, Director of Cocktail Programming at Sant Ambroeus restaurant group, this signature cocktail is the best seller at their locations in Milan, Paris, New York, Miami and others. Created to celebrate Sant Ambroeus' 90th anniversary, this cocktail pays tribute to the group's first restaurant which opened in Milan in 1936.
