Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Liquore Strega
1 12 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
1 oz Orange Curaçao liqueur
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

I like this one on a large rock much better than up - the extra chill and dilution helps with the sweetness.

Tried adding an oz of Rittenhouse Rye to this and it cut through the sweetness very nicely. Ended up with a sort of Manhattan variation

Used Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao Yuzu. it is really good

Also - used Dolin instead of Cinzano. Wanna try in old fashioned glass with cubes, negroni-like - I think that it must be chilled all the time, water would dillute some sweetness and will give strega's herbals a better kick afterwards
