I don't know if anyone here is familiar with Ernst Happel, but this sounds like the last thing on earth he would have been having regularly. I'd love to know the story behind the name. It does sound amazing, so I guess I'll have to buy some Kirschwasser now. *sigh*

The kirschwasser does a great maraschino interpretation. The Strega, a chartreuse one. This is pretty much an apricot last word and it's damn delicious for it.

Tried using strega before, but results were poor. this one was different. Excellent flavour liked by all the family.

Loved the bitter notes from the Kirshwasser amidst all the other wonderful flavors. Finally got the Liquore Strega after not being available for over a year in Seattle. So many cocktails to try now.

This was outstanding. Great for an aperitif. Not too strong, but well balanced.
