Serve in a Sling glass

Ingredients:
1 oz Grain Scotch whisky
13 oz Pinot Noir red wine
13 oz Giffard Fraise des Bois liqueur
13 oz Monin Vanilla Syrup
23 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Top up with Fiol Extra Dry Prosecco
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Sling glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint sprigs and icing sugar.
  3. SHAKE first 5 ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. TOP with sparkling wine and briefly stir.
  6. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Would a blended scotch work well enough for this or is the grain Scotch crucial?

Copper Dog worked fine for me; ratio of sparkling wine is what makes or brakes this cocktail i.m.o.
