1 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
12 oz Straight rye whiskey (100 proof /50% alc./vol.)
13 oz Crème de noyau liqueur
13 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
13 oz Disaronno amaretto
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters

How to make:

STIR all ingredients with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass (preferably over a chunk of block ice).

Variant:

Kernel of Truth by Michael Lazar (AKA Mr. Manhattan) and discovered on his Stirred Not Shaken blog. Michael's original recipe calls for 2oz Wild Turkey rye, ½oz homemade crème de noyaux and ¼ maraschino.

I was looking for Godfather variations and came across this. Note: I didn't have any Creme de Noyau, but I substituted Giffard's Apricott Brandy and it was wonderful. It is very fruit forward and surprisingly has a pretty dry finish.
