I enjoyed a simpler (and cheaper) version of this cocktail with Stoli vodka, dry martini (I used Noilly Prat), and Stone's ginger wine. 3:1:1 worked well

Okay but personally I would put a dash of bitters in rather than 3 drops (life’s too short!)

Love the taste of ginger. It is the predominate flavour, but works very well with the other ingredients. A great alternative martini and wonderful with a strong cheddar cheese.
