Sip your way through a layer of absinthe to a citrus and cacao influenced rum and tonic. This long drink won't appeal to all but some will dive right in.

If you're gonna try this long drink, you might also check out the short version of a rum and tonic while you're at it. Just mixed up Don Q with Fever Tree. It works surprisingly well. As a vintage Bacardi ad (https://archive.is/VBUKM) claims, it's the greatest thing in shorts.
